Hello! My name is Jaclyn and I run Backing Wanderlust!

My shop started a long time ago on Etsy when I made stethoscope name charms. I chose my shop name at the time because I was traveling all around the world every chance I could! My sales were "backing" my wanderlust. I took a hiatus from that after a while and my shop was dormant.

In 2022 I decided to reopen my Etsy shop but this time selling digital prints! I love designing these as I think they are easier for everyone! Digital prints open up a variety of size options that I couldn't offer otherwise. They also allow you to invest as much or little as you want in printing them making them much more affordable for most. 

In 2024 I started designing stickers! I love my digital items, but I wanted to be more hands on. This has led to many stickers, bookmarks, magnets, and physical prints being added to my shop!

In 2026 I added embroidery to my shop! I have been hand embroidering for a while but struggled to find a way to make that a sustainable part of my business. So I bought an embroidery machine! While some items are fully made with an embroidery machine (which is still a very hands on process), my embroidery hoops are a combo! I love being able to combine machine embroidery and hand embroidery to make unique items!

Also in 2026 - I started this website! After 5,000 sales on Etsy and 1,000+ 5 star reviews, I wanted to take on the challenge of operating my own website!

COMING SOON! I hope to continue to grow by adding more apparel and more items that I will make a UV printer!
